Born in Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture. Trained for six years under Nakamura Shinko, a beloved disciple of Dojo Rokusaburo, a philosopher of Japanese cuisine. Having honed his skills at renowned Japanese restaurants, he has a deep knowledge of Japanese, Italian, and Korean cuisine.
The culinary philosophy is to make the most of the characteristics of each dish and the original taste of the ingredients, and to combine them to give the food more breadth and depth. In particular, the top priority is for customers to enjoy the food with a smile, and the restaurant is particular about always thinking about the food from the customer's perspective.
"I've worked with many great chefs, but Chef Kawashima is in a class of his own. He has a unique approach to ingredients and creates dishes that could be described as inventions. I incorporate my own ideas into this and try out dishes that are different to those at Treis every day," he says, sparing no effort in his exploration and training.

Usage
Purchase a seat at Gochimeshi Exclusive and enjoy your meal at the store on the day of your reservation.
If you tell us the name of the person who purchased the food, the person who received the seat can eat without paying.
