Having been cooking since he was a child, Mr. Takubo naturally aspired to become a chef, and after graduating from high school, he entered Osaka Abeno Tsuji Culinary Institute.
During his time at university, he became interested in Italian cuisine and trained under Shinji Harada at Aroma Fresca in Hiroo.
He learned from his teacher "unconventional Italian cuisine that makes the most of the ingredients while retaining a Japanese sensibility."
In 2007, he opened Ristorantino Barca in Hiroo.
In 2010, he moved to Ebisu and opened "Aria Ditakubo" as the owner chef.
In 2016, the current "TACUBO" opened in Daikanyama.
They are constantly proposing new Italian cuisine, such as introducing a cooking method called "wood-grilling" using an open fireplace.

Purchase a seat at Gochimeshi Exclusive and enjoy your meal at the store on the day of your reservation.
