Chef Takemasa Shinohara opened "Japanese Cuisine Shinohara" in his hometown of Konan City, Shiga Prefecture, at the young age of 26. Surrounded by only rice fields and residential areas, the restaurant has become famous and receives reservations from all over the country.
That "Shinohara" branch expanded to Ginza and opened as " Ginza Shinohara " in 2016. Since opening in Ginza, it quickly became number one in Japan across all categories and all stores on Tabelog, and its name has become known throughout the country.
